Basic Data Validation ¶īasic Data Validation, is performed to control the data in references or sub tables, Only Validated data, that is Approved willbe used. The Basic Data Container is the only container that allows manual update. To handle Meta Data Errors in the Basic Data Container, it is possible to manually update the fields, that needs to be updated. This will show exactly what Error needs to be fixed. If any Error exists, the Data Status is set to Error, and the columns containing Errors will have a description in its related Messages column. This container has a generic table structuare similar to other containers with 10 columns to store key field values, 50 columns to store non-key field values and all those 60 columns has adjascent columns to store the messages that are generated during validations. User can edit data in this container if the basic data target is unlocked and data line is in unapproved state. These Status fields can be used to select for Rerun of Validation Test. The Deploy Status, reflects if the Record has been Deployed to any of the Target Environments. The Data Status for data handles the quality of the Data in the Record like, Not Validated, Error, Validated and Ready to be Deployed. There are two status fields for data in the Basic Data Container, a Locked Status field for the basic data target and a Deployed Status for data.The Record Status for data shows the evolvement of the Record from, New, Modified, Approved or Deleted. Target Table Scope decides the type of the given Target table whether it is Basic Data or Not. In order to see any data in the Basic Data Container, the Filters have to be set for a specific Basic Data Target Table. After a Basic Data Target is locked, data cannot be extracted from either Output Container or Connected Environemt. Operations are similar to that of Output Container except the Basic Data Target Locking. Basic Container is the storage area for the Basic Data.
