Both gunmen, described as Hispanic men aged 18-20, with skinny builds, and wearing ski masks, fled the scene eastbound on Burt Street according to KTVU, evading the responding officers and leaving Farinha on the ground. Investigators allege that Farinha was involved in an altercation with two suspects, one of whom shot him multiple times with a handgun. Police arrived on the scene after receiving reports of a shooting and discovered Farinha unresponsive in front of the drive-thru per a KRON4 article. A tragic incident shook the community of Santa Rosa as 40-year-old Rohnert Park resident, Jeffrey Farinha, was found dead at a Jack in the Box drive-thru on 2755 Santa Rosa Avenue, the victim of a brutal homicide according to NBC Bay Area.
